Converse All Steel Services was established in 1986 by Roger and Rose Converse as a steel warehousing and shot blasting facility in Youngstown, Ohio.
After noticing a need for custom flame cutting in the area, they purchased a small oxyfuel cutting machine to supplement their services. Soon after, their business began to grow at a rapid pace, and a need for a new facility became apparent.
Converse All Steel Services became incorporated in 1993, and in 1994, Rose and Roger moved the company to Canfield, Ohio, our current location. Shortly after the move, our company acquired another burning machine and upgraded our computer systems to maximize cutting efficiency, and a machine shop was added in 2012.
Over the years, our company has continued to incorporate the latest in technology, which, combined with the hard work of our employees, makes us what we believe is one of the best custom flame cutting businesses in the industry.
In 2014, siblings Rita Williams and Ross Converse took over as full owners and are responsible for overseeing daily operations.
Converse All Steel currently has 30 employees that work two shifts in order to provide custom steel parts to the local heavy manufacturing and construction industry.
